Southern Maryland Crops Dinner

The Southern Maryland Agents would like to invite everyone to join with our University specialists to have your questions answered about crop production and pest control at the Southern MD Crops Dinner on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Baden Firehouse Hall in Baden, MD.
Timely topics scheduled for the 2021 conference include:
- Local Soil Fertility Issues
- Farm Stress Management
- Fungicide and Growth Promoter Use in Soybeans
- Palmer Amaranth Management
- Updates to the MD Noxious Weed Law
- Updates on Local Fertility and Pest Issues
Participants will have the opportunity to visit sponsor exhibits and talk with company representatives. Attendance at this program will fulfill the requirements for Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification and Nutrient Management Voucher Training. Come and join other Southern Maryland farmers and industry representatives for “news you can use”.
The registration fee of $15.00 includes a catered dinner. For further information call your local Southern Maryland Extension office or (301) 934-5403. PLEASE NOTE: We will be following current county regulations regarding masking in indoor settings. Participants will be required to wear a mask covering the mouth and nose while indoors to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Do not attend the meeting if you have a cough, fever, or other symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the event.
