Introduction to Agricultural Careers

A career in agriculture is ripe for the picking. Agriculture is one of the United States’ most important industries, employing more than 17 percent of the country’s total work force.

Learn how you can enter the agricultural workforce by examining specializations in the farming industry. This 6 hour course will identify and compare different segments of the agricultural field and will illustrate industry specializations.

The course will outline educational requirements for relevant industry certification in Engineering, Machinery, Horticulture, Agronomy, Safety, Business, Economics, Law and Agri-tourism.
