Calving Workshop – Southern Maryland

The University of Maryland Department of Animal and Avian Sciences together with University of Maryland Extension will be holding a comprehensive calving workshop in Southern Maryland on January 9th for all interested cattle producers.

The goal of this workshop will be to cover all areas of calving including, prepping for farm for the upcoming calving season, common calving management techniques, as well as strategies for handling issues that may come up.

Registration is required: $20 per farm – Fee includes all educational materials and a free gift – Calf Tubing Feeder and Calf Straps (one per farm).
