Description: The 2018 Delmarva Small Ruminant Conference ALL WORMS ALL DAY is a day dedicated to worms. All topics covered at the conference will pertain to internal parasite control in small ruminants. The conference is a repeat of the same conference held last year at Delaware State University, except the speakers have swapped topics.
All speakers are members of the American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control (ACSRPC; wormx.info): Susan Schoenian, University of Maryland; Dr. Nelson Escobar, University of Maryland Eastern Shore; Dr. Dahlia O'Brien, Virginia State University; Dr. Kwame Matthews, Delaware State University; and Dr. Niki Whitley, Fort Valley State University.
The American (formerly Southern) Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control was formed in 2003 in response to the critical state of the small ruminant industry associated with the emergence of anthelmintic resistant worms.
